Space science, technology and innovation offers an incomparable, fact-based perspective that can help the human beings on earth to overcome the greatest challenges through Information derived from and developed through space technologies. ICESCO appreciates the importance of space science and technology applications for sustainable development in Islamic World and anticipates to create awareness about space science and technology among major stakeholders in academia, industry, government, organizations, as well as amongst individual scholars, professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
The CanSat concept was first introduced in November 1998 by the American professor, Robert Twiggs during a symposium on space systems in Hawaii.
